Exceptional Experiences
"Stephanie is a truly remarkable energetic healer. The [work] she did with me opened up my senses, freed my body of blocked energy, and sparked my spirit. I really appreciated the loving intention she puts into her work. Stephanie was fully grounded and present in every moment of her session with me. I was touched with love.”
— Walter S., Novato, CA.
“I met Staphanie in a difficult period in my life when so much was changing. I wanted help to open up more, both physically and mentally, combined with the yoga I was already doing. Stephanie met me in a most wonderful way, and my experience was that she had "magical" hands. She released the best in me, and I bring it with me further in life as a very special experience. I will definitely contact her again when I return to San Francisco.”
— Aud Irene Svartvasmo, Norway
“I have worked with Stephanie for over 4 years. Her guided meditation helped me through a rough time. Her Esalen training was amazing- I got releases where I had pain for years!
We tried some therapeutic yoga (not my thing- but it was relaxing and helped me to sleep!) was a new experience that I still enjoy with her. She is really good and I would recommend her to any 'old geezers in pain' like me.”
—MZ the crankyaccountant, Walnut Creek
“I'm extremely picky about my massage and I hate to feel that someone is just going through the motions (yes, I've had a lot of those).
Stephanie is a wonderful massage therapist! She knew what spots were important and how to work them out - deep and relaxing at the same time. She also was great at explaining what yoga poses might help me as a post massage self-care…Great experience overall!”
— Dasha R., Berkeley
“Stephanie [Logan] is a remarkable massage therapist in that she combines vision and competence with an intuitive sense of what the body needs at any given moment. The words that come to mind are ‘healing presence’. She has a way of being in the present moment which inspires and instils trust. Some therapists have great technique but no style or presence. Others are warm and friendly but have no technique. Stephanie has both.”
— Alan Jones, Dean of Grace Cathedral, San Francisco
“Stephanie is an exceptionally skilled therapist. She not only addresses physical issues (muscle stiffness, soreness, flexibility), but is equally skilled at bringing the mental and spiritual healing aspects into the session. She mixes degrees of pressure and depth in a way that allows for a deep and invigorating massage without going too deep, too quickly. I highly recommend!”
— JT, executive at Apple
“I received a relaxing and sweet massage from Stephanie. It was almost trancelike how blissed out I felt during her work.
She has a very sensing and intelligent touch, and her hands move with strength and intuition. If you're looking for a deep nourishing treat I recommend her!”
— Sam Z., San Francisco
“… I must truly rave about [Stephanie’s] massage skills. A few years ago I was having an issue with a muscle in my upper back that was in constant spasm. I was taking Ibuprofen like most people eat peanuts.. I had been to physical therapy where they tried deep tissue massage. While that helped it did not get that muscle to release fully. I could feel it trying to wind up again. Then Stephanie … gave me three massages [within a week]. No deep tissue torture just gentle relaxing massage. By the time she left that back muscle had relaxed totally. I stopped buying Ibuprofen in jumbo size bottles. I haven't had any problems with that part of my back since then.”
— Gary D., San Diego
“I was on a long road trip and my back felt terrible after I got home. I found [JoyWorks SF] close by and made an appointment with Stephanie. Her studio was very quiet and relaxing. Stephanie was so friendly that I immediately felt comfortable with her. She has a great massage style and it shows that she really knows what she is doing. My back has never felt that good. I would definitely go back for more massages.”
— Abhi A., Pacifica
“I first got to experience the work of Stephanie's last year and was amazed of how intuitive she was. Her presence alone brought great relief from the many long hours of work that we performed together. She was a inspiration to all who crossed her perceptive path and embodied many of the healing arts within her practice. She is a Master Bodyworker, Yoga Instructor and Reiki Healer that sets her standards above any other therapist I have worked with. Her work is a blessing to any who get to receive it.”
— Kennedy C., President of Sarva Dharma Productions
“Stephanie has given me several massages over the past year and her caring professionalism as a practitioner of massage is wonderful and very restorative. As a Massage Therapist, she is my go-to person!”
